7th MML: How much does sustainable feed cost?
15 Nov. 2024
On 28 November 2024, the FOODCoST project will host its 7th Multi-Actor Multi-Level (MML7) workshop, focusing on a critical question for the livestock sector: How much does sustainable feed cost? This online event, led by APRE – the Agency for the Promotion of European Research and the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics, will run from 10:00 to 11:30 AM CET and promises to deliver key insights into the role of high-quality soybean production in sustainable feeding practices.
Exploring sustainability in the livestock sector
The workshop will centre on one of FOODCoST’s case studies, which examines the use of Hungarian soybeans for pig feed. Participants will delve into how incorporating this high-quality produce can contribute to reducing the environmental footprint and emissions of the livestock sector. By focusing on both present challenges and future business opportunities, the session aims to provide actionable strategies for real-world impact.
Co-creating the future of sustainable feeding
MML7 will be a collaborative platform for stakeholders across agriculture, food production, and sustainability sectors. Through dynamic discussions, participants will co-create solutions that address pressing environmental and economic concerns while fostering innovation in sustainable livestock farming.
This event continues the FOODCoST project’s mission to facilitate transformative change in food systems through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and research-based insights.
Be part of this important conversation on 28 November 2024 and help shape the future of sustainable feed. Together, we can pave the way for a more sustainable livestock sector.
