About
Consortium
The FOODCoST Consortium consists of 22 beneficiaries from 13 EU countries (The Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, Denmark, Slovakia, Sweden, Spain and Romania), including 2 associated partners from Germany and the United Kingdom.
The consortium gathers all the necessary skills, experience, and resources for the project, and will work in a coherent and complementary manner. This multidisciplinary team covers all the expertise required to professionally develop harmonised methods to evaluate the externalities along the food chain, to gain insight into possible policy and business models that foster the transition towards a sustainable food system, and to evaluate the impacts of these measures.
